Bed bugs in Planet Hollywood Las Vegas! OMG!

After a 15 minute walk from the parking garage to the hotel and 5 minutes to figure out where the lobby was, my husband and I checked into a room. My husband noticed black dots moving on the bed and realized they were bugs. The front desk gave us another room. We were told we needed to file a report with security who never arrived to our new room for the report. During our stay, the non-smoking room smelled of smoke and marijuana from the hall and adjacent rooms. The house cleaners didn’t clean with clean towels, since we can see all the dirty rag marks on the counters and hair, different color from ours, on the toilet. Our room keys stopped working each day after 3pm. After the second day, I thought it was comical and so did the desk clerk. The carpet is not latex right causing lumps/ mounds in the carpet creating trip hazards.
Over all, the location of the hotel is mid strip near everything. I would bring sanitation wipes to clean the room each day and definitely check for bugs! I do not recommend this hotel. After staying at the Paris, New York- New York, MGM, Mandalay Bay, Baley’s and many others, this is definitely the worst hotel I’ve experienced on the strip. Definitely not worth even a free/ comped room (which you still have to pay $42 per day in resort fees and tax). I would recommend Avoiding this hotel.

DISGUSTING!

Be prepared to walk 12-15 minutes from the parking garage to the difficult to locate front desk through the Miracle mike hall with drunk patrons. Once we arrived in our room, my husband noticed “black lint”on the white bed sheets, pillows, and tan couch. On further investigation, the “black lint” moved and were BUGS, possible bed bugs! I called and we walked back down to the front desk, where we were asked to file a security report for finding the bugs, I thought was strange. Our room was changed with out bugs.
During our 5day/ 4 night stay, our room key stopped working each day after 3 pm, so we needed to go down to the front desk for new keys daily. The cleaning crews sanitation/ cleaning techniques are questionable after noticing black hairs in, around and on the toilet as we first entered the room and through out our stay. Be mindful, My husband and I are both blonde.
After all, Although our stay was on a comp promotion, planet Hollywood hotel and casino is not work the headache and frustration.
